SELMO in Use - Project from Modelling to Monitoring

A retrofit project in the woodworking industry shows the optimization potential of SELMO in a fast run: +++ 23 sequences, 373 zones, 227 steps, 12 servo axes, 13 drives, 5 asynchronous motors, 236 inputs and 172 outputs, user interface and ERP interface, PLC Beckhoff (TwinCat 3) +++ The commissioning of the sequential logic software as the core of the machine took only five days. Subsequently, drivers for the ERP connection and order management were put into operation. From the very first moment the SELMO software showed the hardware weaknesses; from the start the operator is supported by the user interface. The SELMO machine always informs him what the next step is, what needs to be done and what is missing. Because this information is available right from the start, it is easier to derive tasks for continuous improvement of the machine. Thanks to better cycle times, throughput has been increased by 25%. Availability is now further optimized by 100% SELMO monitoring
