Sensors must be able to cope with harsh environmental conditions, no matter what the location: dust, buildup and aggressive media, but also extreme weather conditions such as heat or rain, condensation and humidity, as well as vibration and shock all play a role. The electronics of VEGA sensors are encapsulated in a special 2-component silicone gel and thus protected against moisture and condensate as well as mechanical influences. This ensures not only a long service life for the sensors, but also reliable measured values at all times in level and pressure applications.
