FANUC Authorized System Integrator Kaufman Engineered Systems designed, built, and installed a comprehensive system for bulk palletizing glass bottles to meet its customer's cycle times and stability requirements to maximize productivity. The system utilizes two FANUC M-410iB/140H robots, one FANUC M-410iC/500H robot, and a custom-built station to securely strap completed loads. Key benefits: • System efficiently palletizes 4,400 bottles per load, meeting cycle time requirements. • Strapping station ensures stability of each palletized load. • The system has a small footprint, enabling the customer to use existing plant space. • Demolition of existing obsolete palletizer and successful installation of the new system completed during the plant's yearly shutdown. • Dynamic system handles swings in bottle rates, automatic delivery of pallets, sheets, and top frames (dunnage).
