Get it Done with Automated Bottle Palletizing

FANUC Authorized System Integrator Bastian Solutions designed and built a robotic palletizing solution that palletizes cases of bottled beverages. How the System Works Once filled, sealed, and labeled, bundled bottles are conveyed to the cell where they are accumulated and staged in rows. Then, a custom compression style end of arm tool (EoAT) safely moves rows of product onto the pallet to automate the palletizing operation. The EoAT also picks and places slip-sheets between layers, increasing overall palletizing efficiency and load stability. The system is powered by two FANUC M-410iC robots, each tending to a single packaging line; each system can palletize up to 35 bundles per minute. Once palletized, loads are indexed into an automated stretch wrapper cell and then discharged to an outbound conveyor for forklift pickup. System Benefits: - High efficiency - Flexibility to handle various cases - Improved throughput FANUC’s long-standing M-410 palletizing robot series increases throughput for palletizing and handling applications. With a capacity up to 700 kg and a reach up to 3.1 m, the 4 or 5 axis M-410 parallel link robot series is ideal for handling medium to heavy payloads.
