Get it Done with Robotic Case Packaging
FANUC’s Authorized System Integrator Pearson Packaging Systems has designed and built a fully automated robotic case packaging solution using multiple FANUC SCARA robots to pack tubs of lunchmeat into cases.
How the System works:
Tubs of lunchmeat and formed cases are conveyed into the cell where the first two robots use vision and custom tooling to find, rotate and align the product into packing patterns. Next, robots 3-5 pack product layers into cases, and mispicks are deflected to a product reject area. Once filled, cases convey out of the workcell. The system uses an intuitive HMI that supports system operation, troubleshooting and changeovers.
Key Benefits:
• High-speed operation with multiple robots
• Very reliable and safe
• Easy troubleshooting via intuitive HMI
• Tool-less EOAT changeovers
FANUC’s SCARA robots provide great solutions when speed and repeatability are essential.
