Gimatic Sprue pusher for sticky sprues

While picking the sprues, it is necessary to apply correct gripping force pulling out the sprue from the mold. In plastic injection working temperature sometimes sprues can be sticky. In this video, customer was having problems with sticking sprues to the sprue gripper DD20. For releasing sprue gripper fingers were opening, but sprue was not falling down, it was sticking to the finger. It was generating a serious issue with the next mold extraction cycle. We supplied Gimatic sprue ejection kit which contains mini cylinder OFC14-10 + Fastening kit OFC-008 with sensor seat for DD20 gripper + steel claw OFC-A002. This kit is mounted on the existing DD20 sprue grippers and eject the sprue while the DD gripper opens its jaws. Now 100% of the sprues are correctly ejected improving the machine working ratio. This solution is step by step becoming a standard in the factory.
