Dunkermotor ServoTube Linear Motor Gantry Application

www.dunkermotor.com Demonstration of the complex gantry systems that can be designed and built using Dunkermotor ServoTube linear motors. Shown is a 3-axis system including 2 X-axis motors (X and X prime) with a single drive; 2 Y-axis motors acting independently on the same rod, and 2 Z-axis motors with the high rigidity system for pick and place, welding, sampling, or even stamping of products under the gantry. This system is easily expandable with additional X , Y and Z axis motors for even more complex systems. Utilizing the linear motors' high accelerations and speeds means that the processes can be done faster, thus increasing the throughput of the overall application.
