Laser 2000 presents: Safety first - An Overview of Laser Safety (German)

Class 3R, 3B or 4 lasers are now used in many areas of industry, research and medicine. Due to the good focusability of laser light, it offers several advantages over conventional light sources and processing methods. At the same time, however, it always involves a great risk of irreversible damage to the eye and skin. Consequently, the selection of suitable protective measures is of great importance. We would therefore like to give an overview of the legal requirements for laser protection, which standards have to be observed and which protective measures ensure safety at a laser workstation.
