Support for Off-Center Spindles – ESPRIT Product Highlights

ESPRIT offers new support for mill-turn machines with a sub-spindle mounted on an X-axis slide. The sub spindle moves to center automatically for a pickup operation. When the sub spindle position is not constrained by another operation (pickup or tailstock), then you can control the position of the sub spindle by editing the collinear axis solutions of the operations in the program.
