Impressive DN3000 flowmeter production | KROHNE

In this video the production and calibration of an OPTIFLUX electromagnetic flowmeter in DN3000 is shown. The calibration is carried out up to 15,000 m³/h on KROHNE’s water calibration loop at KROHNE Altometer at Dordrecht in the Netherlands. KROHNE Altometer well known of the production of flowmeters for the process industry, not only in standard applications, but also in special projects with extraordinary process conditions. Measuring water accurately is important. Not only small liquid flows have to be measured but also the large flows. Measuring large liquid flows can be challenging because pipe diameters can range up to DN3000. By having specialised in industrial process measurement since 1921, KROHNE has gained an enormous amount of application knowledge in various industries, making it possible to develop custom made solutions which allow to measure large liquid flows in DN3000 pipelines.
