Troubleshooting Profinet with Osiris and Delphi (2/3)

Watch as Linda goes over the physical setup, connects to the network and to Procentec’s Ethertap (which is already installed in the network). Procentec’s Ethertap enables you to do passive monitoring and get a deeper insight to your network. Once connected, the network settings are configured enabling her to perform the scan. She starts the measurements, walks you through the features and the information provided by Osiris. As she is actively scanning the site, an alarm shows up on the Ethertap tile of the dashboard. She enters the Ethertap tile for more information and Osiris determines the exact cause of the alarm. Through the help of Delphi, Procentec’s virtual support engineer, she receives an explanation of the alarm, the possible cause and solves it. Delphi provides simple textual information to the user and comes included in Osiris. Observe as she fixes the network issue on the spot and gets immediate results. The network maintenance is then concluded by generating a detailed report which depicts the network error and presents the results. Linda then concludes the video by summarizing the main points and invites technicians and maintenance engineers to follow up.
