Troubleshooting Profibus with Osiris and Delphi (1/3)

In this first video of our three-video series “Troubleshooting with Osiris and Delphi”, our colleague Linda troubleshoots and solves a PROFIBUS network issue with the help of Procentec’s Osiris software and Delphi help function. All this in a live operational environment! The video starts with a brief introduction to Procentec, an explanation on the current growth and trends in mixed architecture networks, the challenges faced by maintenance engineers and concludes with the definition of Procentec’s ethos INDUSTRY 4.HUMAN. Watch as Linda goes over the physical setup of connecting a laptop to the industrial network with Procentec’s renowned Proficore, she then performs a network scan with the Osiris software to get a level high analysis of an industrial site. She detects the issue, determines the possible causes and discovers how to solve them through the help of Delphi, Procentec’s virtual support engineer. Delphi provides simple textual information to the user and comes included in Osiris. Observe as she fixes the network issue on the spot and gets immediate results. The network maintenance is then concluded by generating a detailed report which depicts the network error and presents the “before and after” results. Linda then concludes the video by summarising the main points and invites technicians and maintenance engineers to follow up.
