The curve profile will determine the amount of current and time required to trip the MCB. Carlo Gavazzi offers B curves (ideal for switch mode power supplies), C curves (for general industrial applications), and D curves (which are ideal for high inrush current applications such as motors). Our GMB Series are UL489 approved for branch circuit protection. They come in 1, 2, or 3 pole versions, and are available in 22 overload ranges, from 0.5- 63 amps. The GSB Series provide UL1077 supplementary protection, which means they can be used where branch circuit protection is already provided, or is not required. They are offered in 1, 2, 3, or 4 pole versions, with 13 overload ranges available, ranging from 1-63 amps. The GMB and GSB Series are DIN rail mountable for fast and easy installation. A wide range of accessories are available, including bus-bars, auxiliary contacts, shunt releases, alarm switches, and feeders.
