NI Acoustic Functional Test Station for Digital Microphone Test

Digital microphones are becoming more prevalent in many of the electrical devices we use today. However testing technology has been slow to catch up, traditionally necessitating expensive, inflexible analog technology. The use of FPGAs to perform inline PDM decoding opens new possibilities for test stations optimized for higher throughout, better accuracy and improved flexibility, all at a lower cost. This video explores an example of this architecture for a 8-up digital microphone, production test station.
