EV and Hybrid Vehicle HIL Testing - Part 1

In this video see an EV HIL Demo (Hybrid Vehicle Architecture) presented by Bruno Cesar Yenikomochian, an integration specialist at Alliance Partner OPAL-RT Technologies. This demonstration features power electronics, electric machine (motor), and ICE engine modeling in NI I/O connected FPGAs and VeriStand with OPAL-RT's VeriStand Add-On for Power Electronics. We integrate models from MathWorks SimuLink and LabVIEW in VeriStand to simulate the other components around the vehicle control unit, in this case an ECU from Pi-Innovo. Use this test solution to connect design and test workflows and to streamline the transition from desktop design to model-in-the-loop (MIL) to hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing.
