Automatic cutting edge measurement of a saw blade with the Alicona DiscCobot

Cobots consist of a collaborative 6-axis robot and an optical 3D measuring sen-sor, providing repeatable and traceable measurements in high resolution also in production. Users verify surface quality and dimensional accuracy of small features on large components. An example from the Cobot series is the DiscCobot, which is used to measure large rotationally symmetrical components and turbine disks (up to 120 kg).
