Sustainable Hackathon Challenge - Dassault Systèmes. For two days, four teams of students have imagined the Sustainable Manufacturing of tomorrow. In 1950, the global population was 2.5 billion. It is now 7 billion and rising – we cannot continue to produce and consume as we did in the 20th century. The Hackathon participants have presented how Sustainable Manufacturing can be applied to the environment, the factory and the workers, in order to create the sustainable factory of the future.
