We are keeping the wheels turning and our people safe. Goods are flowing in and out of our headquarter for global logistics and our teams are busy making sure orders are shipped to customers. The center serves customers in 30 countries, primarily in Europe. In the critical areas, shipping and planning, colleagues work in parallel teams to #staysafe, and each shift leaves 15 minutes before the next comes in. Kudos to all for the great #Team-Spirit and willingness to go the extra mile.

Annual Report 2019: Strong earnings and increased investments

Danfoss delivered strong results and continued the high level of investment in the core businesses to remain at the forefront and be the most attractive technology partner for our customers. In 2019, Danfoss increased the sales by 3% to EUR 6.3 billion and delivered strong operating profits (EBITA), that grew 6% to EUR 771 million with an EBITA margin of 12.3% - a record high operating profit level from a historical perspective. For years, we have been working on reducing our energy consumption in our factories worldwide. Our speakers explored the roadmap and solutions for reaching the target by 2050, with electrification of farming machinery as one of the key drivers for this transformation. The climate crisis is the challenge of our times ─ why do we need to act now and what to expect for the agriculture sector? Connie Hedegaard set the scene for the event. Connie Hedegaard was the European Commissioner for Climate Action from 2010 to 2014, during which she led the negotiations towards the adoption of the EU 2030 Climate and Energy Framework. Connie has had climate action as a centerpiece of her political effort since she was appointed Minister of Environment to Denmark in 2004. With two decades of experience in international and domestic executive policy making, Connie is today assuming several key positions in support of a low-carbon and green economy.
