IROCUBE is a flexible, accurate, compact machine tending cell that works with complex geometry parts. The system combines a FANUC LR-10iA/10 robot with a FANUC ROBODRILL. Irovision allows for flexible operation with virtually unlimited part types, eliminating the need for fixtures. Its highly accurate and user-friendly. How it works: The IROCUBE has four stages of operation • Teach the Irovision the model of the part • Load the simulated path for the part from the ROBOGUIDE. GET IT DONE. TOGETHER. Unboxing pallets with Trapo Nederland.

In Trapo Nederland’s solution for automatically unboxing pallets of ripened cheeses, a FANUC R-2000iC/165F robot picks up the deck frame and the heavy plate from the pallets. It also places a deck frame back on the same box again, keeping the box and deck frame together. How it works: First, the FANUC robot picks the frame from the box and places it in a temporary position. Next, the robot picks up the heavy top plate and places it on a carrier within the secured area. The box is transported outside this area for a cheese inspection by an operator. If ready, it is transported within the reach of the robot. The robot places the previously removed frame back on the box; box and frame stay together. The box is transported to the unboxing unit. If the PLC signals to unbox, this is done automatically, followed by wrapping the pallet of cheeses with foil. The pallet stacker provides the box – still hanging in the unit – with an empty pallet which next goes to a separate outfeed.
