OPTISONIC 6300 Clamp-on flowmeter | KROHNE
Clamp-on sensor technology offers an easy method for flow measurement. However the installation must be done in a professional, smart way. It all starts with the proper installation of the sensor onto the pipe. The flowmeter itself must also be durable and easy to maintain - basically no different from a conventional, inline flowmeter. The KROHNE OPTISONIC 6300 clamp-on flowmeter is designed to answer both these requirements. It has two ultrasonic transducers fitted in a robust all stainless steel rail which provides correct alignment with independent sensor mounting. In this way the transducers are always aligned accurately and can be adjusted precisely to achieve the best, the optimal performance. This optimal performance is already tested and proved in the factory, where each flow sensor is individually flow calibrated. The durable design of the sensor minimizes maintenance. The different coupling media available, including solid coupling pads, also contribute to this. The click and turn feature of the rail allows easy access to the transducer contact area for cleaning and/or regreasing, while keeping their exact position. During its long measuring life, the diagnostics available, shown acc. to Namur NE107, monitor the sensor and system performance continuously. The OPTISONIC 6300 is suitable for any application. Sensor options cover a complete diameter range, for Ex or non-Ex areas, for higher temperatures, and with IP68 rating. The converter electronics features all necessary external communication options.
