Space saving machine tending with FANUC CRX

As the existing gantry automation solution at Emerson Professional Tools AG was broken, they were looking for a readily available simple installation with a small footprint. The FANUC CRX was the perfect solution. It convinces with its small footprint and easy installation and programming. Now the CRX automates the removal of finished parts directly from the lathe as well as remnants from the bar feeder. Machine availability has been increased to 96 % per day. In addition, the productivity of the machine has been increased, as it is now possible to run a complete ghost shift, which was not possible with the old handling system.
