Single Phase Chassis Mount Solid State Relays

Carlo Gavazzi’s chassis-mount SSRs are not only considered an industry standard, but also game changers within the market. We use the latest in direct copper and wire bonding technology to improve both the performance and the quality of one of the broadest SSR product portfolios available worldwide. Our industry-leading RM1 Series is widely used in many industries. They control resistive, inductive and capacitive loads up to 125 Amps in zero-cross, instant-on, peak, and phase-angle switching applications. These SSRs can switch a wide range of currents and voltages, when activated by a discrete or analog input. The RM1D series is ideal for D.C. switching applications such as heaters and battery management. They switch up to 100 Amps and 1,000 times per second. Their superior thermal performance design reduces the size, or possibly the need, for a heat sink. The RGS1 Series is merely 17.5 mm wide and is a drop-in replacement for a conventional hockey-puck SSR. These robust relays can switch up to 90 Amps, and feature output terminals capable of handling 3-gauge wiring. The miniature RF1 Series takes up 70% less space than a conventional SSR. It can switch up to 25 Amp resistive loads. Their standard, pre-attached thermal interface and fast-on terminals speed up installation time. To ensure long term SSR operation and reliability, choose from up to 42 heat sinks and heat sink/fan assemblies, the most in the industry. DIN, panel and through-wall solutions can accommo¬date up to twelve panel mount solid state relays with thermal resistances as low as 0.12⁰ C/W. Use our industry-leading online Heat Sink Selector to specify the right heat sink for your application. Dupline Parking Guidance System Part 2

The first thing your customers will notice when entering the carpark is how great it looks. The bright indicator lights in different colors, beautiful direction displays and aesthetically designed sensors all together create an impressive scenario that will attract attention. The next thing your customers will enjoy is the easily comprehensible guidance function. By following the direction displays with dynamic green arrows, they will be led to the nearest driveway with vacant spaces. Once there, the drivers just have to look for the bright green LED lights indicating vacant spaces. The improved appearance and service of the carpark will attract additional customers, but there is more to it than that. You will achieve a better utilization of the carpark, an improved efficiency through powerful supervision and analytics software tools, and a significant potential for energy savings. Better utilization and higher revenue: The utilization of the carpark, and thereby the revenue, will increase, especially in busy carparks with high occupancy rates. The guidance system will lead customers directly to those hard-to-find spaces making sure they become utilized as soon as possible after they have become empty. The customers will not be reluctant to enter the carpark when only a few spaces are announced vacant because they know they will get guidance. Less driving and less energy usage for ventilation: You will also notice that the flow of cars changes in the carpark. It will be much more calm and quiet than before because the drivers have no confusion about where to go. As a result, the driving in the parking facility will be reduced by 20% or more leading to reduced energy usage for ventilation. Energy savings through demand-based control of lighting and ventilations: In carparks, lighting and ventilation are the two big energy consumers, and in many cases, the systems are switched on 100% continuously. This represents a significant potential for energy savings through intelligent demand based control where lighting levels are based on the presence of people and cars, and the speed of ventilation fans is based on actual measured CO levels. Carpark 3 offers the unique feature to exploit such opportunities effectively within the same system and, in addition, to be linked to the building’s overall BMS through BACnet. Higher efficiency through powerful carpark management software: The carpark management software is included as a web server in the carpark controller, and this represents several valuable features that will help you to run the carpark efficiently. The carpark operator will be able to monitor the real-time status of the entire carpark through a graphical user interface and take action in case of alarms or high occupancy rates. Spaces for specific purposes can be reserved manually by selecting a specific color for the LED indicators, or you can set up the scheduler to do so based upon a calendar. All parking events are logged into the database, which forms the base for a powerful tool allowing you to analyze and improve the performance of the carpark. The Parking Guidance System is available from Carlo Gavazzi’s network of sales offices and distributors in the Americas, or at www.GavazziOnline.com For more information on this innovative system, please visit www.GavazziOnline.com. It can measure most relevant instantaneous electrical variables, energy consumption, and harmonic distortion. The WM15 is an ideal alternative when traditional analog meters need to be replaced, providing final users with immediate visual indication of the current values by means of the three bar graphs shown on the matrix LCD display. Installation is easy and error-proof, and commissioning is fast, making the WM15 ideal for panel builders, OEMs, and installers. The economical WM15 is designed to for use in a variety of markets and applications, including conventional energy, building and industrial automation. The features of the WM15 include: * Self-powered version: 208 to 415 VLL AC * Auxiliary power supply version: 208 to 600 VLL AC * Current inputs: 5 A by CT connection * Free downloadable configuration software * 3-phase/4-wires, 3-phase/3-wires, 2-phase, 1-phase systems * Optical port for configuration via OptoProg (Bluetooth or USB) * Digital output for pulse or alarm outputs * RS485 Modbus RTU port (optional) * cULus listed The WM15 Power Analyzers are available from Carlo Gavazzi’s network of sales offices and distributors in the Americas, or at www.GavazziOnline.com. Compact Safety Magnetic Sensors

CARLO GAVAZZI ‘s MC36C Series Compact Safety Magnetic Sensors are designed for safety-related applications, such as the monitoring of swinging, sliding or removable safety guards, which keep personnel safe from dangerous areas. The MC36C Series of magnetically-coded REED safety magnetic sensors are the ideal solution to monitor the position of sliding, hinged and removable safety guards, especially in dirty and dusty environments. Thanks to their wide actuation range, the MC36C magnetic sensors are ideally suited for use in applications where great tolerances are required, such as with safety gates or doors which are imprecisely aligned. The MC36C Series are extremely versatile and can work as standalone or in conjunction with a safety module to reach a safety category 4, according to the EN ISO 13849-1 Standard. These are some of the features which make these sensors extremely flexible to meet various application requirements: compact size (36x26x13mm), output configuration (2 NO or 1 NO and 1 NC), availability with 2m cable or M8 quick disconnect (left or right exit). Other important features include: * Assured switching range: 5mm with MC36CM * Assured switch-off range: 15mm with MC36CM * Operating temperature: -25 to +80°C (-13 to 176°F) * Rated operating voltage: 12-24 VAC/VDC * Rated operating current: 0.25 A (resistive) * Maximum switching load: 6W (resistive) * Maximum operating frequency: 100 Hz * Optional LED indication * Degree of protection: IP67 * CE and cULus approved The MC36C safety magnetic sensors are the best choice for non-contact detection and are suitable to monitor safety gates that prevent the entry of personnel in the vicinity of dangerous machines in motion, such as conveyors, robots, mechanical links, etc. The new magnetic sensors are available from Carlo Gavazzi’s network of sales offices and distributors in the Americas, or at www.GavazziOnline.com For more information on these innovative products, please visit www.GavazziOnline.com.
